Embedded Software Test Engineer Jr. (ADAS)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar; it is required the following knowledge and skills:

Engineering:

• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Understanding of embedded systems.
• Basic to intermediate “C” language programming knowledge.
• Basic to intermediate scripting skills (CAPL, DXL, Phyton, …)
• Debugging Skills (log file analysis, oscilloscope, …)
• Desired but not required:
o Basic to intermediate automotive communication standards knowledge (UDS, CAN, Lin, …).
o Basic to intermediate Vector tools knowledge.
o Basic to intermediate Software Requirement Analysis.
o Basic to Intermediate ASPICE knowledge
o Experience in active safety electronic systems or other safety electronic products
o Knowledge of UDS diagnostics and CAN stack integration for Driver Assistance electronic controls.

Proficiency with testing:

• Basic understanding of the uses, methods and testing techniques.
• Basic testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
• 1+ years of experience in Software Testing or similar role in testing discipline.
• Troubleshooting
• Desired but not required:
o Well-rounded experience with multiple operating systems, virtualization technologies, and test environments.
o Experience in Automotive SW testing


The Job position may require to travel to the US and Europe (<10% of the time) to support knowledge transfer and global coordination of activities; therefore is required to be eligible for travel needs and be willing to travel when required.
