Resumen:

Major viruses infecting tomato belong to RNA viruses (Tospovirus, Crinivirus, Tobamovirus, Potexvirus, Torradovirus, Tombusvirus, Potyvirus, Ilarvirus, and Cucumovirus) and DNA viruses (tomato yellow leaf curl and bipartite begomoviruses). This chapter presents important viral diseases of tomato crop, their evolution, mode of transmission, and management strategies aimed to prevent significant damages.
